Steps That Delivered Big

We began with a complete teardown and rebuild of the ad account. The client’s existing structure was unorganized, and most campaigns were losing money. We paused all active ads and created a fresh, clean structure centered on keyword intent and product alignment.

Manual campaigns were launched, broken down by keyword category—branded, competitor, category-level, and high-intent long-tail. This setup allowed us to isolate performance, test rapidly, and shift budgets toward what worked best.

Using Helium 10, Brand Analytics, and real search term data, we selected only the most commercially viable keywords. Our campaigns focused on exact and phrase matches—avoiding the waste that broad-match often creates. Every keyword was hand-verified for buyer intent.

We implemented negative keyword filters from day one. Dozens of underperforming queries from prior campaigns were blocked immediately, and new negatives were added weekly. This dramatically improved click relevance and reduced ad waste.

In parallel, we worked with the client to improve listing optimization. Bullet points, titles, backend keywords, and A+ Content were aligned with our ad copy and high-performing search terms. This enhanced the customer journey from click to purchase.

We introduced timed promotions synced with ad pushes—offering limited-time discounts that boosted urgency and conversion rates. These promotions elevated keyword rankings and had a lasting impact even after the deals ended.

To re-engage non-converting traffic, we ran Sponsored Display retargeting. These ads reminded viewers of the product they’d browsed earlier and converted at significantly lower CPC compared to first-time visitors.

Budgets were managed using a “performance first” approach. Rather than spreading thin across all campaigns, we concentrated the spend on the top 20% of high-performing keywords—ensuring every dollar had ROI behind it.

Weekly reports were delivered with full transparency. The client received breakdowns of ACOS, ROAS, CTR, and sales performance per campaign, giving them full confidence in both our strategy and execution. By week six, they began seeing results that exceeded their expectations.
